MARSHALL "Zeb" FARLEY

Marshall Everett (Zeb) Farley, 83, 403 Covington St, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient for a few days. The deceased had resided in Crawfordsville since he was eight years of age. He was a former employee of the Aluminum Company of America, having retired there at age 65. In recent years he had engaged in the trucking business. Born Sept 13, 1882, in Shelby County, Indiana, Mr. Farley was the son of John and Arielda Jane Schumake Farley. He was married Dec 6, 1910 at Louisville, Kentucky to Allie Jane Manion, who died Feb 25, 1962. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bright Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Crawford Howe, pastor of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

** Funeral services for Marshall Everett (Zeb) Farley were held at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Crawford Howe of Chebanse, Ill in charge. Curtis E. Bright played requested organ selections. The men assisting with the flowers and carrying the casket were Marvin Manion of Oolitic, Roscoe Manion of Indianapolis, Jerry Manion of Greencastle and Eddie Northcutt, Virgil Phillips and Charles Northcutt of Crawfordsville. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery beside his wife who died in 1962.- kbz
